Who
doesn’t love chocolate? Who doesn’t love brownies? How long has it been since
you ate brownies? Having Celiac disease or gluten sensitivity deprives you of
many food pleasures. One of these pleasures is chocolate brownies. Try this
recipe and I assure you you’ll have a batch ready for your guests! Make sure to use
good quality dark chocolate to get the most decadent taste you may ever dream
of! Enjoy this recipe with your family as no one can tell it’s gluten-free!
Ingredients

3 eggs
- 225
grams or 1 cup sugar

Vanilla
- 200
grams dark chocolate (I used 85% cocoa)
- 175
grams butter (cut into cubes)

85 grams or ¾ cup gluten-free cake flour mix
-
40 grams or 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- ¼
tsp cream of tartar
- 50
grams or ½ cup chopped walnuts
Method
- Heat the oven to 170°C and grease a square oven pan (23x23 cm).
- Line the oven pan with parchment paper.
- Put the chocolate chips and butter cubes in a heatproof bowl on a pot of simmering water.
- Let the water simmer on low heat until the chocolate and butter completely melt.
- Put the melted chocolate aside to cool.
- Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla until fully blended and light in color (2-3 minutes).
- Mix the dry ingredients together (flour, cocoa powder, cream of tartar) and sift them.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until fully incorporated.
- Add the melted chocolate and fold carefully.
- Add the walnuts and mix.
- Turn the mixture into the square oven pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Insert a toothpick in the brownies and make sure the center is still crumbly and a little bit wet.
- Let the brownies cool and then transfer to a wooden board.
- Cut the brownies into squares.
